I've been working through the leech module and find it promising, but the current method of installation and use is very confusing. I've managed to create my first working leech feed, but the formatting of the original post and all images has been lost. (not an issue with aggregator) Is there a way to specify the all html filter on the feed? What precisely is the relationship between the feed node and the item nodes? How does one build a listing url with just leech items, especially if using the story node? Can one build a url for all leech feeds?

Very confusing. In the spirit of open source cooperation, let me offer an exchange. If the developers of this module will help me understand its proper use, I will be glad to write up a clear and concise help page that can be included in the module. (I'm an author by profession) If interested, use my contact form, or email zoondev (--at--) gmail.

Hi Zoon,

Thank you for your great offer. the readme file needs definitely some love and help pages for leech would be great.

Can you give me an example of the lost formats? a link to the node that was aggregated and the feed it came from?

You should be able to control formatting simply by controlling default settings of input types for the feed item node type. Be aware that leech uses the creator user of a feed for creating feed items. So be sure to have the right settings for the right user group.

What the documentation also needs is a description on how to upgrade from aggregator2. Valuable information can be drawn from here: http://drupal.org/node/92986.

I rename the original issue so that it sounds rather like a task.
