Hi friends
when I enable some new installed modules like panels, views, chaos tools etc and click on SAVE button then it does not saved and show this error message. I have tried it several times. please help me

Go to /admin/reports/status and click on the number under PHP.

Then, locate the path to php.ini file and open it in Notepad.

Again, locate "max_execution_time" and set it to a higher value (300 ?)

alternately you can click on the WAPM icon in taskbar, and open php.ini for editing.

thanks for your reply
i changed maximum_execution_time = 300 in php.ini file but the problem is same
it still shows the same error message.
i am just learning using drupal and i cant do anything due to this problem
might it be any other reason ?
please help me

Make sure that the setting is shown in /admin/reports/status/php .

If you still see the problem, stop apache and restart.
