how to setup jabber with drupal

Hi,
I want to use jabber in my drupal site. There already is a jabber module available for drupal 4.7, but as there is no documentation for it at the moment so I dont have a clue as to how I can go about setting up a jabber server to work with my drupal site.
Can someone please guide me in the right direction.

It's the Christmas holidays for most so one of the niche modules may have significantly less users expertise to begin with. You might file an issue requesting more documentation against the jabber project. The install.txt says only works with 4.6
