New module is incompatible with the core

My newly written module is not working and the error is: This version is incompatible with the 6.20 version of Drupal core.

here is my .info file:

name= Custom
description= finds path and stores it and checks for path accessing permissions
core=6.x

there are no dependencies, so I am not sure why the error is there :(
