Any chance for integration with User Points on this? Would be great if useers could "bet" points on a game and have the league automatically split up the pot with the winners.

Would this be like confidence points where you get some number of points each week to bet (or rank) the games and then your score would add up the points on the correct picks? Or are you talking about something slightly different where any number of users would bet on a game or a week and the winner gets all the points placed into their bucket? A user story or example usage would be helpful so I understand what you are proposing. Also large change would probably be implemented after D7 conversion.

Thanks for following up! My proposal was for users to be able to wager their user points as credits on the outcome of a game, either by winning team or by a points spread, and then for a formula to distribute the "pot" of points amongst the winner(s). So 3 buddies and myself bet on the Wings game tonight (which they will hopefully win), two of us on the Wings and the other two on the Sharks. We all wager 10 user points for a pot of 40. The Wings win it (by a landslide) and myself and my buddy each gain 20 user points while the other two lads are out the points.

This may be something to consider as an add-on module - I feel like designing the interface for this could be grand enough to be a module of its own. It may be a better idea to tackle this as a betting system which allows any series of values to be used as credits, i.e. a user could even bet with real credits purchased through PayPal. There are a lot of things that could be used as credits to place a bet - for my little plan however the focus was on User Points.

Please keep me abreast of your plans here - this could be a really awesome addition and I would love to play around with this!

I don't expect wagering of user points to be incorporated anytime soon. But I do see standard confidence points coming. I'm not sure how the wagering would play out on a full pickem league. People might like to bet a lot on GB vs STL and lose all of their points in week 1. The league might getting pretty thin by week5:)
