When I tried to install this module, I saw a flash of an error message but it didn't stay on the screen long enough to read. Then it said the module was installed, but the module does not show on the modules page. There is a page_title directory in sites/all/modules.
I checked the error log, and I see an entry: Warning: RecursiveDirectoryIterator::__construct(/home/dornbushhw/pierrettes.dornbush.net//pierrettes/update-extraction/page_title) [recursivedirectoryiterator.--construct]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in SkipDotsRecursiveDirectoryIterator->__construct() (line 409 of /home/dornbushhw/pierrettes.dornbush.net/includes/filetransfer/filetransfer.inc).
and another error: Notice: Undefined variable: finished in _batch_process() (line 343 of /home/dornbushhw/pierrettes.dornbush.net/includes/batch.inc).
I have attached screen shots of the two error pages.

VHarris commentedHi
I received a similar message. Again a brief flash, then the successful install message.
Googling the errror message brought up this thread
Is this a critical error?
Thanks
Vaughan
Comment #2
bdornbush commentedIt's critical in my case. The module does not appear in the Modules listing, so I cannot enable it.

nicholasthompsonI cannot replicate this. Could you please both list your server specification (software and version numbers please)?

irishdan commentedthis also happened to me. but i was updating different modules, not "page title" module. it must be an issue with core or server setup.
