The "Views Module Developer API" page (http://drupal.org/node/42609) linked to from the Views project page is helpful, but not exhaustive.
The documentation that is buried in the Drupal Handbook (http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/views/api) is much more useful, and totally impossible to find. I had to search the whole Drupal.org site to find it.
Why isn't http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/views/api even linked from http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/views ? I literally have not found a way to access this page, except by searching for it.

Post A Drupal Documentation Issue
Hey jlucenberg
I believe this is a valid request, but probably should be posted as an issue under Drupal Documentation.

actually for views it should
actually for views it should be posted as a support request in the Views' issue queue, since I can no longer keep up with the forums and only see things when I get lucky.
Luckily someone mentioned it on the documentation issue there: http://drupal.org/node/94185

Sorry, yes; sepeck is correct. It's still a work in progress. I meant to go ahead and make it public a bit ago but I have been short on time and long on things to do. My apologies.
