The breadcrumbs are not hidden for menu items set to . Same problem when manually setting a frontpage url in site-information and setting the path to that but items still show up in the breadcrumb with "Hide the breadcrumb if the breadcrumb only contains the link to the front page." checked.

I have also tried setting the menu items to a specific language and "all languages" with no luck.

Thoughts?

Internationalization is an important piece of Drupal 6/7. We need to be able to rely on contrib modules being able to properly handle multi-lingual content.

Have other folks found a work-around to this problem?

I have a related problem. I cannot seem to find the "hide-button" after I installed the l10n-module. As a matter of fact I cannot find anything about breadcrumbs anywhere in the drupal-menu.

On every page the 'home'-breadcrumb-link is placed at the top, but I want to remove it since I have a very simple page with only a few menu items.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you access the Menu Breadcrumb module settings?

http://example.com/admin/settings/menu_breadcrumb
Administer > Site Configuration > Menu Breadcrumb

"Hide the breadcrumb if the breadcrumb only contains the link to the front page." is the setting you want to enable. Again, locale may prevent this from working for you as i18n did for me.

I'd like to see these three Menu Breadcrumb issues fixed in the next release.

* #400748: Incorrect breadcrumb when multilingual node appears in menu more than once
* #717100: Problem with multilingual site and multiple menu's with same links
* #1054202: Hide the breadcrumb if the breadcrumb only contains the link to the front page not working with i18n menu.

In order to do that I'd like to get fixes tested and reviewed for all of them.

The release co-ordination issue is #1827248: Release co-ordination for Menu Breadcrumb 6.x-1.4 and 7.x-1.4. Aiming to release in a month from today. If you're interested in getting these fixes in, now is the time to patch or review these issues.
