It would be helpful to see the current list of terms while adding new ones. Having to click back to the "list" tab while to make sure I haven't forgotten one is frustrating.

Can we show the current list on the right (or left) of the add term form? Do we really need two separate pages for this, if we can put both the terms list and the add term form on the same page?

A very neat idea...

The vocabulary and term user experience needs a makeover, and I can see this being one feature.

Putting the edit form and the listing together on the page works well in Taxonomy Manager http://drupal.org/project/taxonomy_manager. It has other usability enhancements that suit hierarchical controlled vocabularies. Have you tried its Drupal 7 beta release?

This is likely impossible for Drupal 7 core because it's a significant interface change. I'll assemble a list of taxonomy issues to discuss in a bof at drupalcon. This is a usability problem as well, so let's raise it in that context as well.

This sounds like it would be covered by #394518: Merge Term add page and vocabulary overview. Marking this issue as a duplicate of that.
