I suggest some features like
Use both Google & Babelfish to get the best possible translation
Provides search engine friendly URL for translated pages which are bookmarkable

Well, the module name is Google Translate so I do not think it'll make sense adding other translation services.
As per search-engine-friendly-URLs I think this will affect other modules working on Drupal and opens the door to hundreds of dependencies.
I do not think this is doable, yet thanks for pointing this out.
