Replies from gmail makes strips out line spacings.

Hi

I have an issue that I do not understand that why is it happening.

Whenever I reply to a comment from gmail account as a reply to a forum issue, all the spacings between the lines vanishes.

For example if write:
-----------------------------------
testing that lines do not vanish.

or maybe they will

lets see

------------------------------------

it will become

testing that lines do not vanish.or maybe they willlets see
-------------------------------------

I think there is something very minute that I am unable to trace. Also when I reply from my another account which is my company's e-mail id using outlook express this error does not occur.

Please can anybody please help me as I have spent more than 2 hours on this small issue.
