Apture on admin pages makes it difficult to accomplish simple editing tasks without a bubble attacking me.

Can we disable it for anything admin/* or maybe even for user 1 altogether? That would be nice.

I considered this when I was updating the module for 7, but elected not to since the bar can be hidden at any time by clicking the left side. Are you referring to when text is highlighted on a page?
