Hi - any suggestions how the load speed can be improved for the homepage without replacing the slideshow? It seems even if you use small images within the slideshow, it still takes a long time to load, which from a SEO point of view is a nightmare. Thanks, Mark

danpros commentedHi,
You can try to turn on the caching, optimizing the CSS and scripts.

verum_est commentedDear Sir,
sorry to bother...
I'm so new to Drupal and have little or no knowledge bout web dev. so I just want to know how to turn on the caching, optimizing the CSS and scripts. because its a little slow when loading the frontpage especially the images or should I lower image resolution and/or change it from jpeg to ping?
Thanks in advance!

jburnard commentedJust go to "configuration" at the top (if you're logged in as admin) then "performance" and you'll see check boxes to do what you need.
