I need to show a VAT exclusive subtotal over at checkout page. I have a product of $100 inclusive of 20% tax. The subtotal shows $100 but I need it to be $80.

This might be confusing as there is already a subtotal exclusive of VAT on the order total preview. My problem is that this subtotal also displays the shipping amount. So what I want is:

Display the original subtotal exclusive of the product's VAT. ie $80 and not $100.

Or

Do not add the shipping cost to the amount of the 'Subtotal excluding VAT' line. ie $80 and not $80+shipping cost.
