I've finished a module that integrates EMF with Ubercart. I'm launching a site with the module enabled soon. The module adds a tab to the EMF settings page to enable Lists that a user can subscribe to in an Ubercart checkout pane.

This was a constant requirement of mine by clients, so I decided to polish and release it to the community. I'll be releasing it on D.O. once the switch to Git is made (5 days or so). I'll post back here once it's up.

Would love to see and help test this in whatever form: module/snippet/patch...
As you mentioned, this is an obvious and frequent requirement - can't think of many online store situations that wouldn't benefit from creating an opt-in list of customers.

Finally got this up!

It's fairly simple, but I've been using it on a live site for months now without issues. The dev release should publish sometime in the next 12 hours... Once I get someone on here saying it works well for them, I'll put out a full release.
