Suckerfish partially working

Recently installed Newsflash on drupal 6.19

It seems the only time a suckerfish drop down works is when you're on the page for that menu option. So, if you want to see the options under the "Create Content" menu, you first have to go to the Create Content page. While there, none of the other drop downs work.

I'm pretty sure that's not how it's supposed to work, though don't know what I'd have to do to get it working.
