This release comes with a new DrupalPractice coding standard, which checks for Drupal API best practices and was merged into Coder from https://www.drupal.org/project/drupalpractice .
Several new fixer rules have been implemented, which means you can now fix even more coding standard errors automatically with phpcbf.
First alpha release of Coder for Drupal 8. This release is focused on the PHP_CodeSniffer (PHPCS) 2.0 integration and requires the most recent dev version of PHPCS (phpcs-fixer branch).
There is now rudimentary support for PHPCBF to automatically fix your code!
This is a major upgrade, that now includes the project formerly known as Drupal Code Sniffer. There was also a major code cleanup, modernization of drush, a new "Code Sniffer" rule that uses drupalcs, and many bug fixes. See the Battle Plan for more details.

This is a major upgrade to 7.x-1.x, the first major work on coder (other than adding new rules) since the 6.x release. There are more features that still need to go into this branch, see #1745068: Coder Review Drupal 8.x Battleplan, but it's now stable enough for others to try.

For Coder Upgrade, this release includes more upgrade routines, enhancements to and bug fixes of upgrade routines, and use of the enhancements to the editing API provided by the grammar parser module (which is a dependency for Coder Upgrade).

This new release was required because of API changes in Coder concatenates strings in odd ways during parsing. This version already has significant new features over the prior 6.x-1.0 version. There won't be a 6.x-1.1 version, but will skip instead to the 6.x-2.0 version because of these API changes.

This should of been created a long time ago. While this is the first "official" 6.x according to the release system, Coder was one of the first modules upgrades to 6.x, and has been working for some time. I'll do a better job of releasing versions, so you will now know when there are updates to the rules.
