Is there any chance to get this functionality implemented? Class GeSHi already has corresponding method GeSHi::highlight_lines_extra($array).

Certainly and interesting feature,
but given the limited maintenance/development resources and higher priority issues (Drupal7 port), this will have to wait a bit I'm afraid.
