I am using XHTML-strict method of putting Flash objects on the page. The widgEditor chops off the
elements nested inside the

element. I use a php filter also - but that's not the php that causes the problem.

I think that's why the module description contains "for simple content". I believe that complex things, such as Flash animations, should be embedded using a content filter, and this module should be used for basic markup.
