When authorized users create and save a child page for a personal book, the page is successfully created, but the user doesn't know because they only get an "Access Denied" message. The URL they are being denied access to is "/book_manager/batch/[parent node number]".

baaj commentedI've the same issue - really would appreciate it if you could share how you fixed it. Thx!
webservant316 commentedsame here but I get the error every time I add or edit any content type. I am always re-directed to the book_manager/batch page and get an error that the page doesn't exist or I don't have perms.
opening to active in order to learn what the solution is.
webservant316 commentedactually when I edit an existing node it calls the batch?op=start&id=51 successfully and does whatever it does. What does it do? However, when creating a new node the call to book_manager/batch fails with a page not found.
thanks for any help
Comment #5
webservant316 commentedwhy would book_manager/batch be called at all when adding or editing for nodes that having nothing to do with books?

joshuadrupal commentedAny progress on this issue? If this issue could not be fixed soon, which alternative module or hack can be used for creating a personal book? I want to make the "Books", the "Book Navigation", and "BookTree" blocks only show the author's own books. Greatly appreciate your help and would like to buy you a cup of coffee if your coding works.
