ContentO ?

Hi

First of all what is being referred to as 'content', is it the fields of modules ( ex: teaser, body etc. for story module). or is it simply referring to 'story' (module) as a content type.

I want to know what is the utility of ContentO module, because there is very little documentation available. Please help.

Actually I am looking to create customized forms to enter data, which can be other than the common story and page fields. But do answer that what contentO does?

Regards

Page module presents it

Page module presents it content ( like an article ) in its entirety , while story module presents that same content in a blog like fashion with teaser body. Contento does the same as Story , but as a different node. Hence , you could use a story content as a front page feed for news stories , and then contento as a seperate members news stories feed avaiable from say a members only link.

You could look at cck for adding different fields in a created node ( though it doesn't deal with teasers at all well , if at all.

ContentO module won't let

ContentO module won't let you create customized data entry forms.

It can create new simple content types with only a title and a body, just like story and page, which you can use for different purposes in Drupal 4.7. (Just like Drupal 5 does by default)

If you want new content types with additional customized data entry fields you have to use CCK or flexinode.

Thanks
