This is a patch posted at http://drupal.org/node/557542#comment-3720108 but I don't think there's an issue yet.

#557542: Cache module_implements() is very unlikely to be committed to D6, but there are three merge requests against pressflow on launchpad for it, and people are using the patch on installs. Since this shouldn't break anything without the patch applied, makes sense to try to make drush compatible with it, so uploading it here.

Getting anything new into Pressflow (or even bug fixes) is taking a long time at the moment it seems.

Since this patch works with or without the backport, and chance of committing it anyway?

Passes all tests in 4 and 5. Seems pretty harmless and I'm a fan of that pressflow patch, so RTBC from me.

Could we add a comment about why our flow no longer matches what the D6 update.php does? After that, feel free to commit.
