I've been working on building a marketplace (multiple sellers) on an existing drupal site. We're starting down the road with Ubercart, which came recommended. However, I've always hated the layout and usability with their system and feel that in the end, I'll have to recode most of the process. I've also been disapointed to find that many of the standard eCommerce needs (for example, Returns) have no clear solutions with Ubercart.

I was wondering if anyone else had thoughts or experiences between Ubercart/Commerce/Magento modules.

Thanks!

Hi Brian,

I'm starting a search now in preparation to quote for an ecommerce site. I liked your point that returns are not handled, I hadn't thought of looking for that feature.

Have you decided on a solution for yourself? Ubercart was at the top of my mind, but now thinking I should research a lot more. :)

Drupal 6 + ubercart have lots of module. I only need 1 day to learn how to use it. Kinda easy. Multiple seller? U mean Hierarchy is it? Like me, i have end user price, affiliate price and reseller price. All done with the available module. There must be a module which fits ur needs. Just search google or search in drupal website AND READ. Sure u will find 1. I am total newbie, but i love this drupal + ubercart. Learn in 1 or 2 days only compare to other cart like magento or prestashop. Will upload my website in 1 week time...
