Is there any particular reason for the name of this module? I find it a bit peculiar bordering on annoying. Please consider to rename it.

I'm not married to the name. I'd prefer to merge with version, but am waiting on a response. As we're in the middle of the Drupal 5 push, I wanted to get it out sooner rather than later. Is it the word "version" or the "2"? I'd prefer not to be a "2" also. Would you prefer something like "contrib_version"?

If we do rename it, do I have sufficient privs to do this in CVS and in the drupal.org project system or will I need some assistance?
