Yeah, I second that. I would like to know what the plans are for porting this module into Drupal 5.
Does anybody have a patch? are the developers working on it?

I have ported User Referral to Drupal 5. It is working fine for us -- referral URLs work, userpoints integration works fine.

Can somebody, however, test and report?

I have installed the 5 version and cannot get it to work properly. When I use my referral link (http://2nd-chance-encounter.com/referral/326e642e), it simply goes to the front page of the site. The first time I tried, I was an anonymous user, and http://2nd-chance-encounter.com/referral DID go to a referral page. I didn't get to actually test adding a new user before something caused the module to stop working. In addition, when I attempt to 'edit' the 'Your Referrals' menu item, I get a 'page cannot be found'.

Help?!
