Intro: Last year a law was adopted in Turkey so every companies must have a Web Site. After that my client decided to open a company that meet needings of other companies .

I build a site which is based on Drupal 6.19, local commercial site index and my client is selling links and building web sites service. I'm the developer :)

I used some modules;

  • CCK, Views, Taxonomy Menu, Backup and Migrate, Taxonomy Menu, External Links etc. for frame of the site.
  • Taxonomy Editor, Menu Editor, Navigate, Better Messages, Shoutbox for editoring the site.
  • SWF Tools, ImageFlashField, Content Templates for cope with Flash banners.
  • Nodewords, Page Title, Boost, Pathauto, Global Redirect, XML Sitemap for SEO.
  • JQuery UI, Cumulus, Gallery Assist, Shadowbox for visualizations.

    Firstly I use Artisteer for generating the theme (especially for primary menu and blocks) then moved to ZEN subtheme so I rid of ugly CSS structure of artisteer. Need some revisions and I will.

    If you pay attention to the left block (Sektör Menüsü) that is kind of accordion. I tried to use some accordion menus like Accordion Menu, Views Accordion, Taxonomy Accordion but any of them didn't match my expectations then I wrote little JQuery script. If somebody want explanation I can.

    Finally sorry for my English and I'm open to criticism.

    Hi Cirkef,
    Congratulations on your first commercial site - I hope there are many more in your future!
    Can you please tell me what was wrong with Accordion menu - why did you not use it? I need a very simple, easy to maintain site, and want to use existing modules as much as possible (no custom coding). Did Accordion Menu not work at all?

    Great and "çok teşekkür ederim" for the info. I was particularly interesting to hear what you said about Artisteer. I tried the demo, but it failed to produce the .info files for a Drupal 7 theme.

    BTW ... Your English is considerably better than most people's Turkish :)
