Are there any plans for a Drupal 7 version? Would LOVE to have this in 7.

Yes, I'm not sure when it will be ready however. This module is not on my list of priorities I'm afraid.

Peter - any roadmap of what needs to be done? I have a project coming up in 7.x where this could be enormously useful. Happy to help finish whatever needs finishing.

Dhavyd is working on getting the basic functionality ported to D7. What's missing is the Amazon integration. Without it we will not be able to display artists, albums etc with images.

I'm working on the Amazon integration too... I think we should be able to release a D7 version in a couple of weeks.
