It is possible to offer the patched module file(s) in addition to the patches ?

I have read many forum issues regarding this module and there seems to be too many patch updates. I am using the latest version of the modeule (4.7.x-1.x-dev 2006-Nov-13, 2006) with Drupal 4.7.4 and get the common error message "image_exact: File does not exist."

It would be nice if you can also offer in addition to the patches, the complete updated module files with the patches already applied. Some of us users are not PHP programmers and find it difficult to edit code. It is also confusing when multiple patches are offered, which ones to apply, 1, 2, or all of them.

I just want to introduce some simplicity to this process so that all users can benefit.

I will totally fix this and upgrade for 5.0; it's just a matter of finding time. Sorry for the crappy maintenance.

What about an update for the 4.7.x version? This is the one I am currently interested in.
