Hello,

I would like to make it so the users set a location but also provides the proximity from this location they are willing to go. Then other users searching these nodes will set a location and the proximity to search. I would like nodes to show up in the search that overlap in the proximity circles, not just the specific location point of the nodes. Is this something possible at the moment? Or something that may be considered?

Example:
Node Location Point is 3 km from Searching Location Point
Node Location Point in node sets proximity to 2km
Searching Location Point sets proximity to 2km
Because they overlap 1km in the proximity allowed, Node Location Point will come up in the search.
Without allowing a proximity to be set by the Node Location Point, it will not come up in the search.

Essentially, matching the proximity around a location in the node with the proximity in the search will allow matches to be made by preferred distance from one singular point.

I am starting to look for similar issues, although, my starting point is opened node with location data, and I would like to find other nodes in area starting from opened node. For quick reference I just stepped over this Issue thread, and may be it can be helpful.
