willvincent commentedAll day shifts and multiple locations should already be doable with this as is.
Shifts are configured as a name and start/end time. Then then get added to a daily shift schedule tied to various positions, with an indication of the number of spaces that need to be filled. Employees are then assigned to those spaces based on availability and positions they are associated with.
I've not worked with OG enough to look at doing that integration, additionally I'd like to get this functional and out first before looking at adding extras like that. However, I am planning to include hooks for large portions of the functionality, which along with various pieces of this utilizing objects, this would probably be doable as an add-on module, and that's probably a better option as not everyone uses or would require organic groups.

1timer commentedi see that you are in 'slowdown mode' - hope you find the wherewithal to chug ahead - in any case, another suggestion to get more drupalers interested:
check out the Make Meeting project ( http://drupal.org/project/makemeeting ) and code - this might be a good addition / intermediary-step to consider.
Basically this would be an intermediate step (not a finalized schedule) involving folks choosing which 'shifts' they are available for, with the output being a color-coded calendar, allowing folks to recognize the best times to schedule a meeting, or other event.
