We are using the tweetbutton, and when the page on which we put a tweet button has a Clean URL which ends in a '-' we always get the 'twitter is over capacity' message. The '-' symbol is used to replace the spaces that exist in the title.
When I manually change the URL and remove the last '-' everything works okay. When I manually add a '-' as the last character in the URL things stop working and I get the 'twitter is over capacity' message again. I´m not sure this is a twitter bug or something with this module.

vm commentedI've never ended paths with a hypen. Even when using pathauto the paths end with the last alphanumeric character of the last word saved in the path, even in cases where pathauto altered the path.
I'd check all pathauto settings to figure out where the ending - is coming from and remove it from being used.
