I'm formally requesting (co)maintainer status. I don't currently have a cvs/git account, and D.O. requires that if I'm to be granted commit access, I need to have an open issue I can point to, with your approval in it.

I've got no problems with it. I'm totally ignoring the 7.x other than kicking patches over there that I've applied to 6.x.
