We have started using Cleanr as our backend theme of choice for a few websites now, and I can help out with your patch queue (which looks like it hasn't been touched in some time).

If there is no response within 2 weeks, I will move the issue to the webmasters queue to bring it to the attention of someone with access to make the change (but I hope you can do it for me without needing this ;)

I haven't been working on Drupal for a while so I haven't spent any time on this theme. I will make you a maintainer (or request to).

That's awesome news, and with the git migration about to happen (this is our version control of choice at work), I will be able to keep the Cleanr theme patch queue down and maybe get some enhancements into it.
