Description

It would be great to modify it so that admins could select which node types (all or selected node types) were exposed to OAI-PMH.

That was my intention a while back, but there didn't seem to be too much interest in this module, so I never did it.

Are you currently using the module?

Ron.

No, I'm not using the module at this stage because I'm not using the bib module. I would definitely investigate its use if it were opened to other nodes. I suspect alot of others in the library space might find it interesting too.

Ok, I'll put that on the todo list. But before you ask, I have no idea when it might see the light of day :-)

Thanks and 10-4 ... I probably won't be in a good position to go live with it until the Feb-Mar timeframe anyway. Hopefully, it might evolve by then. Cheers!

I'm making a little document repository for an academic library, and it would be interesting OAI in any type of node.

I would certainly welcome this module for other nodes, as well. Particularly, if there was a corresponding harvester module. But maybe this is what the Publish (http://drupal.org/project/publish) and Subscribe (http://drupal.org/project/subscribe) modules are for. (Except, their development seems to have slowed down considerably.) Maybe http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-research-and-academia would be a good place to discuss this in more detail.

Is there still interest in this?
I may have to work on implementing this in the very near future for a client. Some help with aspects of the OAI spec and some beta testers would be appreciated!

http://drupal.org/project/oai2forcck does this (actually, the maintainer based his module on this one). Currently set- and time-based selective harvesting are not working but I've filed bugs.

We would be very interested in being able to use this module with cck-based content types... any chance that this is in the works? We would be happy to be beta testers.
