I would like to ask for Content Management Filter support, namely the option to filter nodes based on the domain source.

No. We don't include contrib module-specific workarounds.

D6 is also closed to new features. You might try Domain Bonus pack for this feature.

Thanks, then I will take my chances and move this to Domain Bonus. If it's okay I will attach a new patch, but I won't waste my time needlessly, this was my second attempt to make this feature into an official contrib module.

sgabe, jk is really the one to contact, if he's even still active. The way to contribute this would be as a separate module that gets included in domain bonus. Also, if you're interested in being a maintainer let me know. I can help try to reach jk or add a note of support.

Note that in the patch the module name (domain_source) is wrong in the hook, but I fixed it in the commit.
