Am looking for a decent forum module to integrate with my Drupal site. When I searched modules there were so many available I didn't know which to choose. I want to use the forum for customer technical support. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Drupal core comes with a forum module. You can use Advanced Forum and other contributed modules to enhance it.

There are modules that will bridge to 3rd party forums such as phpbb but they mostly just bridge user logins and don't completely integrate the forum content into your site.

If you are not sure it's really Advanced, take a look at Michelle's forum. AF is from Michelle.
