How does it work with Panels Everywhere?

It can work with Panels Everywhere, and uses the normal template selection process, exactly as panel nodes do.

I do think I would like to add a feature -- and this is a very easy to write feature -- to allow the site template to be chosen directly from the settings. That way when you create your panel, you can say which site template to use for the page. But even without that, it should work pretty well with Panels Everywhere.

That would be very cool. Panels Everywhere is great.

I am running this on a panels everywhere panany theme. It seems to run just fine. I have not tested very thoroughly though.

One thing I can say, is if you use the In Place editor on both the site template and the panelizer template then the site template will trump the panelizer. So I normally set the site template to standard and the In Place editor for the panelizer is editable. I really dig that In Place editor.

Yeah, using the IPE on the site template sounds like a recipe for disaster. The IPE is currently known to fail if you have multiple panels embedded into each other (which is why IPE is not enabled for mini panels). That's something I believe Sam wanted to address.

I'm leaving this issue open because it would be nice to put notes in the README about this.

#7: Probably that would go in Panelizer. It's a very easy thing to do. Add a piece of data and a selector on the settings page and call a PE function. Obviously you only show the selector when PE is enabled.

Actually now that I think on it, it would actually *best* be a feature request for Panels Everywhere, because then you can just have that setting on every entity if you want it. Hmm. Need to think more.

Panels Everywhere isn't really responsible for the content. Page Manager handles the primary content of the page; Panels Everywhere handles the templating of the page.

That line can be really blurry, and it allows you to draw the line at whatever level you want. But since Page Manager cannot currently handle every page, because Drupal does not have all possible content available as block/panels content, panels everywhere benefits you most when you need to templatize non-PM pages.

Then Page Manager can provide the entire layout or just the inner layout as needed.

I have down loaded panels and panels everywhere and it seems like a great tool. I have created a min view and saved it. Im trying to add the mini panel to the many page. I tried to do this by clicking on add content. A new window pops up with options, mini page link should show, but no link. ive looked all over web but found nothing is this a common problem with drupal 7
