Our servers aren't in Canada and we charge in USD. So...don't know if that helps or not.

Webserve.ca is good as well. They're a general web host, but I I run several Drupal sites on an account with them.

They have been a dedicated drupal shop now for nearly two years. They were also one of the earliest ISPs in Canada. Unfortunately their website is action apps - a case of the cobbler being too busy to put shoes on his children.

I would recommend Ehosting.ca in Vancouver. They are very reputable, and have a hands-on help desk.

They provided me with LOCK TABLE/CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE permissions when asked.
