Was talking to Dries about this and he questioned why the URL was 'commitlog' when we don't ramwordstogether. He suggested just /git (like the old /cvs) and I told him it had to be something general because it's coming from VCAPI (I think).

We settled on /commits which has the advantage of being both a) shorter and b) a single English word rather than two smooshed together.

Yeah, giving some love to those URLs was on my list before launch, but it got shoved off. /commits works well enough...though sooner or later (hopefully sooner), we're going to be getting rid of that whole thing. Eventually we can replace it with an activity stream, but...yeah.
