Hi,

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. When I run a backup with Backup and Migrate, accented characters which appear correctly on my site become garbled in the mysql dump file (e.g. é becomes é). I'm guessing it's a character encoding issue, but not sure where this needs to be adjusted in order to work (is it a database issue or a Module issue?). Any help is most welcome!

Could be a db issue or a module issue, though I don't have any issue with non-ascii chars. Can you check the charset of the tables you are backing up?
