How do you think, does it make sense to replace link "select" to "cansel" after best answer selection?
This will help to change the best answer if required.

Possible. In that case, there should be a checkbox in the settings page for the author to change decision.

Thank you for reply.
I can't find checkbox. I have found only text field on node editing page with number. After deleting number, selected answer was rejected.
May be I do something wrong?

Sorry I meant "There should be...". Presently such an option does not exist, that why I left the status "active".

I'll implement it when I have time.

There is new issue for this with a patch for the 6.x version here https://drupal.org/node/1689720 .
