IMHO (and i don't think i'm alone on this), viewing a user who has a content profile SHOULD increment the node_counter (from the statistics module) for the content profile node

i am going to essentially copy the hook_exit implementation from statistics and tell it to watch for paths of form user/x where that user has a content profile, and manually increment the node counter

but i really think that i shouldn't have to do this, it should be a switchable option within content profile!

what do you think?
