Tabs on profile page flood over into left/right columns

On my dev site where I test modules I have quite a few user-based modules enabled. These modules add tabs on the user's account/profile page. I noticed that these tabs do not wrap if there are too many for the main content area. Instead they flood over into the left/right columns.
