I have one drupal site that uses views to select a node in a nodereference field. I have created another install and now I do not have that option.. there is nothing at the bottom of the Nodereference field settings page that will allow me to select a view. Content, Nodereference are both installed and working properly aside from this glitch. I'm using Nodereference Auto populate Noderefcreate.
I am using Acquia Slate theme.

Are you using Node Widget? Was having the same trouble on a couple sites, and it turned out to be a form_alter in node_widget that removes the advanced settings on all node reference fields.

This is fixed in the dev version of node_widget.
