Added support for country-specific services (such as payment providers).
The demo store theme is now a subtheme of omega_kickstart.

Release notes

Major changes since alpha3:

• Redesigned installer, admin listings, discounts UI, help and getting started screens, and other visual tweaks following the results of the user testing.
• Jirafe integration.
• Reworked admin menu.
• Kickstart without demo store now has a new omega_kickstart base theme.
• "Checkout redirect" functionality, giving anonymous users a place to login or register before proceeding with checkout.
• Basic localization support (configures and enables locale, variable, i18n_fieldsm etc)

The next release is planned in time for DrupalCon Munich.

Our main focus is getting discounts usable, and adding coupon functionality, as well as the ability to limit the validity of discounts and coupons by various criteria (product type, product, customer country, etc).
The version of Kickstart without the demo store will also be seeing many improvements.

Release notes

This is the last Kickstart v2 alpha release.
Now containing the first version of the installation without demo store content (with a custom theme still to be added), the beginnings of a new "Getting Started" screen, as well as many other fixes and improvements.

Release notes

Initial preview release of Commerce Kickstart v2.
Lots of work still to be done. We absolutely need your feedback!

Don't forget you can get support on drupalcommerce.org and post bugs and feedback in the d.o issue queue.
Also remember that this release is not meant to be used in production.

Notes:
1) Installation is still slow, to be optimized for future releases.
2) Discounts are in pre-alpha, and are there for reference only. Coupons integration is still missing, as are other major UI elements.
3) Dashboard hasn't been merged yet.

This release fixes a critical issue on the module administration page. A subtle bug in core intersected with changes we have introduced in 1.5 to make the update information more useful for the distribution.

If you had issues with 1.5

If you had installed 1.5, it's possible that you inadvertently disabled all the modules directly required by Commerce Kickstart. To quickly re-enable them, follow this short procedure:

• Edit the profiles/commerce_kickstart/commerce_kickstart.info file and add hidden = FALSE at the bottom of it
• Visit the module page (admin/modules) and re-submit it (no need to change anything)
• Drupal will ask you to confirm to re-enable the modules
• Your site will be healthy again
• Remove the added line from profiles/commerce_kickstart/commerce_kickstart.info

Changes since 7.x-1.5

• #1538248: workaround a core bug making the modules administration page unusable.
• Add our shipped modules to the list of modules included in the update project.

This release brings us up to date with Drupal Commerce 1.2 and attempts to peg the version numbers for Commerce Kickstart to the main Drupal Commerce project. The goal is questionable, as any one of our dependencies could make a release that forces us to put a new version of Commerce Kickstart out before we're ready to with Drupal Commerce, so perhaps it should've just been a 1.0. It's too late now, though!

Also fixed in this release is the default language property for products created for the example store content step and an update to the Views 3.1 release.
