When working with views, create new content type(form) in view is grouped but on create/edit just list of checkboxes

Hi,

I have created a view with a list of titles and i have grouped this list by the content type. I then have a content type that i use as a form. When i use node reference to reference the view it only shows a list of titles but not the group..anyone got any solution to this problem.
