The Dutch corporate flexcombv.nl went live today. It runs on Drupal, featuring a custom made, fully standards compliant, accessible theme. For theming, I have used the delightful Smarty theme engine maintained by Travis Cline.

Some of the modules used include CCK, site_map and tinymce. Drupal provided just the flexibility we needed for this project.

Looks very well, but there's a major typo, the second tab says "produkten", whereas it really should be "producten" ;)

Ah, I think that's got to be regional preference; anyway, as I'm not responsible for the content I can't do much about it. As a matter of fact, another client of mine indeed insists on producten, but this one liked produkten more. 'De klant is koning', as we say!

For me "produkt" is the way to write it in the dutch language. In the Netherlands in the seventies, there was a tendency to make the language more simple. E.g. where a "c" sounds in dutch as a "k", there was a strong tendency to also write a "k". Nowadays in the Netherlands writing product with a "k" is not a general attitude.
This proves to me, that changes are difficult to make!
(The dutch dictionnary "van Dale" writes for product: `uitkomst van een vermenigvuldiging' from Latin: productum, produkt is not listed this "van Dale")
Anyway: languages are alive!

Dear Mark, I visited www.vormdicht.nl.
Looks very good. A lot of your work draws my attention as a reader.
And.... I asking myself, could you be helpsome in solving my http://drupal.org/node/92197?
(Do not hestitate to write me, in dutch!, via the contact-tab in this drupal-site)

Best regards, Roel

Dear Roel,

Thank you for your comments. I'm afraid I won't be able to help you out, as I have no experience whatsoever with Mac, let alone with the specific problem you are running into. The site I presented runs on a dedicated server, as do most of the sites I have developed. Good luck!
