i have the drupal help module installed which has a good description of the various drupal content types and i would like to have this available to registered users and anon guests.

when logged in as admin it shows up in the menu, but it does not show up in the menu and cannot be accessed by registered users and anon guests. this is what i have checked so far:

-under access control there is no check box to allow different roles to access help.
-i have no access rules specified.
-i have turned off the taxonomy access module.
-i have checked the menu element edit page under help and nothing for permissions there.
so...

1.) how do i allow registered users and guests to see the help page?

2.) this is part of a larger question: i have a number of 'page' nodes that i would like to differentially display to registered users and guests. Where do i specificity the permissions for an individual node that i have created? -ie is there a way to select a node and assign either 'user' or 'guest permissions' to it individually or can a node be added as a selectable item in the access control element list...

thank you

Just wanted to point you here:

Looks like this is going to be fixed finally in Drupal 7. However until then looks like if you want to offer folks access to the help system they also need to have access to watchdog reports.
