Hello, this is a support request, on any pointer in the right direction to make this field viewable in Drupal 7 Views module

This was automatic in Drupal 6, apparently with the port of CCK to Entities a number of things have changed sadly. It use to be as simple as simply selecting the name field from the view interface! If you are having issues, document these here, or if working, mark this as closed.

Names do not show up in views. I was just putting my view together & i noticed it. Names dont seem to be compatible with very much at all. It doesnt show up in tokens either. I am hoping that this changes.

I can not do much about the token support #691078: Field tokens is resolved. No fields are showing! And I'm spending almost all of my free time doing contract work, so I haven't much time to look into support for views at the moment.

Happy to review patches!

if i were a dev, i would, write a patch but i am not...lol.

The name field is not showing...all other fields show but name. i find it odd that they wouldnt show up but i have no idea why or what can be done about it. I thoguht this would be a good module to use, but i maybe i was wrong.

The Name field + formatter options are showing! Not sure if either changes to views or one of the other modules enabled in the site are causing this. Marking as fixed for now.

PS: I tried via a user based view.
