I'm wondering if anybody knows whether flexinode will be updated to run on Drupal 5 ? I know it was supposed to be depreciated in favour of CCK but not sure if this is still the case.
If so, whats the upgrade path from a purely flexinode system to a CCK one ?

me too
i have the same question, if somebody has an answer to it. I want to upgrade my sites to drupal 5.0 but may not do so since flexinode is being used everywhere.
Is there a path to upgrade from flexinode to CCK?

I found that using cck in replacement of flexinode worked and my flexinode content was still editable.
What i did find however was that events i use flexinode for show flexinode_1 or cck_1 under them which is horrid and i couldn't find a way to turn that off.
I'm pretty much stuck now until i can find a solution to this problem :(

I'd also like to know if there is a way to (easily) convert Flexinode content to CCK. I have far too much done in Flexinode to do any of it manually. =\
Same Boat
I've got two years worth of events and it doesn't seem like there's an easy method to convert them from Flexinode to CCK.
Maybe I'm missing something but it's seems like an incredible lapse not to have provided for or anticipated this.
Flexinode to CCK Converter
http://drupal.org/project/flexiconvert
Check out the above link. I tried it yesterday, with partial success, strangely the description field in my classifieds (flexinode) didn't import into CCK. Will give it another try tonight perhaps. The guy who made the module obviously has done it, so it must be possible.
Doesn't Convert Date Fields
I've used it and it may turn out to be a good solution but it only converts text fields and a few other formats. Alas, it doesn't do dates and I dread to do that manually.
We have over 1,700 events from over 3 years of activities.
Yes, I have also tried to
Yes, I have also tried to use flexiconvert but it doesn't do links and not all images were successfully converted. It would be great if flexinode was upgraded for drupal 5, as there are new modules I would like to use with my site. It is very disappointing to think that my site will never be able to be upgraded unless I manually transfer all my content, field by field.
